Description:

Ozarks Food Harvest and Panera Bread are partnering together for Empty Bowls 2015, an event offering a bowl handcrafted by a local artist  — and a meal of soup and bread — in exchange for cash donations.

Nearly 50 area artists have donated more than 250 bowls for the event. Attendees will be able to choose from bowls made from 19 different varieties of wood, as well as hand-thrown pottery bowls, and even bowls crafted by Springfield elementary students.

The empty bowls serve as a reminder of those struggling with hunger in southwest Missouri. All the money raised will support children, families and seniors in need.

The opportunity to purchase a bowl is for the first 150 guests who make a minimum donation of $10. Each bowl has a suggested donation price between $10 and $50. There will also be several wood bowls available through a silent auction. Please join us for the second annual Empty Bowls!
