How to Help

Volunteer Appreciation Month

When:
Wednesday, April 01 — Thursday, April 30
Where:
Across the nation
Description:

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month! Although volunteer sessions have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, we’re still celebrating volunteers and the invaluable work they do to support hunger relief in the Ozarks.

Last year, volunteers dedicated countless hours to sorting and packing food donations at The Food Bank. Without volunteers, 15 additional full-time employees would be needed to sort food, pack Weekend Backpacks and Senior Food boxes, help out at events, distribute food at Mobile Food Pantries, take care of the garden and help with community gleans.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the volunteers who spent time with The Food Bank last year and to those who continue to come back year after year! Ozarks Food Harvest is incredibly grateful for your time and energy.
