25th Annual Turkey Trot & Food Drive

Description:

Get movin’ on Thanksgiving morning and help provide 25,000 meals for food-insecure families in the Ozarks.

This annual 5k run and walk also serves as one of the largest one-day food drives of the year for Ozarks Food Harvest, with more than 13,000 meals donated at the event last year. Proceeds from the event benefit the Springfield-Greene County Park Board Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund and the Developmental Center of the Ozarks. Bring the whole family (and the dog!) to enjoy a fun morning and give back to the community.

Before the race begins, drop off your five nonperishable food items inside the Expo Center, at our truck or at one of our tents near the starting line for the race. You are also welcome to drop off items during packet pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 27. We are so grateful for your support in feeding thousands of hungry neighbors this holiday season.

Early Bird Registration (before Nov. 22):
$20/adult, $15/kids under 12.

Regular Registration:
$30/adult, $25/kids under 12.

Register online or download the form and mail it in with payment. To register on-site, visit the Springfield Expo Center Wednesday, Nov. 27 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. or on Thursday, Nov. 28 between 6:15 and 7 a.m.
