Description:

During Lent, Ozarks Food Harvest is asking the public to participate in Fish Drive 2017 which emphasizes the donation of nutritious and low-calorie fish in cans and pouches.

One in four people in the Ozarks are served by The Food Bank’s network of hunger-relief agencies and high-protein donations are a frequently requested item. Fish is nutrient-dense and is usually easy to prepare without requiring a kitchen or a lot of time.

Last year’s Fish Drive collected 929 pounds of food — providing 774 nutritious meals for its neighbors in need. Help make this year an even bigger success!
