Springfield Public Schools will compete for the title of Food Fight Champion while raising meals for our neighbors in need.
February 28, 2025 – March 13, 2025, Springfield Public Schools and community partners will compete for the title of Food Fight Champions by raising food and funds for our neighbors facing hunger. Funds raised will support students through Ozarks Food Harvest’s Weekend Backpack Program. Food donations will stock school and community food pantries to serve families experiencing food insecurity in the Ozarks.
You can help your chosen school become Food Fight Champions by donating to their food and fund drive. Every $5 raised will help provide 15 meals.

Partners are needed! Your business, church or organization can help provide meals on behalf of a partner school to help them become Food Fight champions. Here’s how:
• Raise funds – Every dollar raised will help provide three meals. Each school and partner team will have an online fundraising page. Donate and share the link to your fundraiser page on social media! You can also host a traditional fund drive to collect cash and change.
• Collect food – If you would rather host a food drive, we have collection barrels and signs for you! Please pick up your supplies and deliver your donations to The Food Bank.Register to be a Food Fight community partner here.
