How to Help

Fish Drive 2016

When:
Wednesday, Feb. 10 — Thursday, March 24
Where:
Church sites, schools, businesses or anyone interested!
Description:

During Lent, Ozarks Food Harvest is asking the public to participate in the second annual community Fish Drive which emphasizes the donation of nutritious and low-calorie fish in cans and pouches.

One in four people in the Ozarks are served by The Food Bank’s network of hunger-relief agencies and high-protein donations are a frequently requested item. Fish is nutrient-dense and is usually easy to prepare without requiring a kitchen or a lot of time.

The first Fish Drive collected 569 pounds of food — providing 474 nutritious meals for its neighbors in need. Help make this year an even bigger success!

Register your group for this drive today by contacting Christy Claybaker at cclaybaker@ozarksfoodharvest.org.
