- Where:
- Description:
During the Month of March, Scouts are going door-to-door to collect nonperishable food for Ozarks Food Harvest during Scouting for Food. Grocery Bags will be dropped off in area neighborhoods along with fliers of most needed food items.
Donations will also be accepted at the following places throughout the month:
- BSA Ozark Trails Council, 1616 S. Eastgate Ave. Donations are accepted Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Ozarks Food Harvest, 2810 N. Cedarbrook Ave. Donation Drop off is at the north east end of the building directly off od Packer Road. Donations are accepted Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays 8a.m. to 12 p.m.
The most-needed donations include tuna and canned meats, peanut butter, beans, boxed or canned meals, rice and pasta, canned vegetables and fruit and cereal.
Supporters can also make a donation online, where every $1 donated helps to provide 4 meals. Last year Scouting for Food provided over 23,000 meals. Help scouts collect ever more this year by making a donation.
Thank you for supporting Ozarks Food Harvest and the local Boy Scouts!
