Scouting for Food 2019

Friday, March 01 — Sunday, March 31
Across the Ozarks

Join Boy Scouts across the Ozarks for the 30th annual Scouting for Food.

Local Scouts are going door-to-door this month to collect nonperishable food for Ozarks Food Harvest. Grocery sacks will be dropped off in area neighborhoods throughout the month. The drive wraps up at the end of the month with a one-day food drive at several Springfield Walmart locations.

Last year’s drive provided nearly 17,000 meals.

Donations will also be accepted at the Ozark Trails Council headquarters, 1616 S. Eastgate, and at Ozarks Food Harvest throughout the month.

The most needed donations include tuna and canned meats, peanut butter, beans, boxed or canned meals, rice and pasta, canned vegetables and fruit and cereal.

Thank you for supporting Ozarks Food Harvest and local Boy Scouts!
