Scouting for Food 2025

During the month of March, Scouting America and the Ozarks Trail Council are going door-to-door to collect non-perishable food items for Ozarks Food Harvest during Scouting for Food week. Scouts will drop off door hangers as a reminder on Saturday, March 22nd and request residents to place a bag of non-perishable food on their porch the following weekend on Saturday, March 29th by 8:00am for Scouts to collect.
Donations will also be accepted at the following locations:
• Scouting for Food Week: March 22nd – 29th at the Ozark Trails Council, 1616 S Eastgate Ave. Donations are accepted Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Ozarks Food Harvest, 2810 N Cedarbrook Ave. Donation drop-off is at the northeast end of the building, directly off of Packer Road. Donations are accepted Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays, 8a.m. to 12 p.m.Most-needed items include tuna and canned meats, peanut/nut/seed butter, beans, boxed or canned meals, rice and pasta, cereal and canned vegetables and fruit.
Supporters can also make a donation online, where every $1 helps provide 3 meals.
