United Way Day of Caring is a southwest Missouri tradition encouraging community members to volunteer for a day of high-impact fun. Every year, volunteers log thousands of hours in a single day to help local nonprofits create positive change in the Ozarks.
Volunteers from community businesses will be collecting food and funds from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Springfield Hy-Vee locations to benefit Ozarks Food Harvest. Stop by to donate money and nonperishable food items.
