Lucas Oil Speedway Food Drive Collects 5,060 pounds

July 30, 2018 in Food drive

Thank you to everyone who supported Ozarks Food Harvest at Lucas Oil Speedway! The food drive collected a total of 5,060 pounds.

On July 28, attendees enjoyed an exciting night of racing, and The Food Bank collected 5,060 pounds, which will provide 4,216 meals. Lucas Oil Speedway and OnMedia/Dish/DirecTV provided donors with one free ticket for every four nonperishable food items given. Food donations from this event will also support Ozarks Food Harvest’s member food pantry in Wheatland, Hickory County C.A.R.E.S. Since the partnership began in 2008, Lucas Oil Speedway has helped collect more than 59,000 pounds of food for The Food Bank, providing over 49,000 meals to those in need. We are grateful for the partnerships of Lucas Oil Speedway, OnMedia/Dish/DirecTV and the community for supporting Ozarks Food Harvest and our member agency Hickory County C.A.R.E.S.
