Stamp Out Hunger 2020

Stamp Out Hunger 2020

June 24, 2020 in Cause marketing

The coronavirus has innovated the way we help our communities. Stamp Out Hunger, the largest national one-day food drive, has moved online this year. Instead of food, this drive is collecting funds to help stamp out hunger nationwide.

Put on by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), the drive has relied on food collection by letter carriers for the past 27 years. This year’s event would have taken place on May 9, but the new version will be a continual collection to meet hunger needs.

While this is a break from tradition, the fund drive will be a very accessible and essential alternative. The NALC still hopes to host the 28th annual Stamp Out Hunger event when it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, contributors to Stamp Out Hunger will be directed to the websites of their local food banks to offer donations. To donate to Ozarks Food Harvest, click the button below.
