Denise Gibson: Food Bank debuts new site

April 30, 2015 in From Denise's Desk Harvest Time Newsletter

After nearly a year of work by Food Bank staff, I’m thrilled to announce the unveiling of a new Ozarks Food Harvest website.

Not only does the site have an improved look, but it’s also designed with you in mind. The homepage immediately grabs your attention with a looped video of our distribution center, giving you a behind the scenes look at OFH.

Easy to navigate tabs make it simple to flow through the site and learn about who we serve. Our new program pages highlight photos and testimonials from clients so you can see the impact your gifts make. The new agency locator page allows people in need of assistance to easily find a pantry in their county with a new interactive map. This also lets you see how wide Food Bank programs and agencies reach.

Everything we do at Ozarks Food Harvest is rooted in our mission of Transforming Hunger into Hope. Our newly launched website was an investment into that mission. We hope you find the site informative and use it to spread our message to even more people.

We can only help the 260,000 people who rely on us every year if people know about the important work of The Food Bank. Please share our new site with your friends and family and spread the good work of The Food Bank.

Together, we can solve hunger in southwest Missouri.
