Food Fight is an annual two-week competition between multiple Springfield Public Schools and their partner organizations. The teams that raise the most food and funds per student will win the title of Food Fight Champions.
Help Springfield Public Schools raise food and funds by partnering with a local school for Ozarks Food Harvest’s 13th annual Food Fight on March 18-29, 2024.
Twenty Springfield Public Schools and thirteen community partners battled to win the sixth annual Food Fight food and fund drive benefiting Ozarks Food Harvest.Over 32,000 pounds of food and fund donations were collected.

Springfield Public Schools will participate in Food Fight 2016, Ozarks Food Harvest’s 6th annual district-wide Food Fight competition, Sept. 15 – Oct. 31, with a goal of 45,000 pounds.
Twenty-eight Springfield Public Schools and 16 businesses and community partners battled in Ozarks Food Harvest’s fifth annual Food Fight competition, collecting over 36,000 pounds of donations which will provide more than 30,000 meals to hungry children, families and seniors this holiday season.
This year, the food and funds collected were sent directly to Ozarks Food Harvest’s partner food pantries in Greene County, including four SPS school pantries.
