Pampered Chef joins the fight against hunger

April 21, 2006

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. The Pampered chef, the premier direct seller of high-quality kitchen tools, presented a check for $1,496.87 to Ozarks Food Harvest, the food bank of the Ozarks on March 28, 2006.  This is the first of two checks that will be provided to the Ozarks Food Harvest in 2006.  These funds represent donations from customers and independent Consultants through The Pampered Chef’s Round-Up from the Heart charitable giving campaign in this area.

Round-up from the Heart is a year-long campaign that benefits America’s Second Harvest and its affiliates, which includes Ozarks Food Harvest. The Pampered Chef’s nationwide sales field promotes the campaign at Cooking Shows across America.  The commitment to fight hunger in America is a team effort among The Pampered Chef’s customers and independent Consultants.

You can do your part to help the Ozarks Food Harvest also!  Every $1 that is donated to the Ozarks Food Harvest is worth 7 lbs of food, which allows many people in the Ozarks to enjoy a  nutritious meal that they would have otherwise gone without.  That is why the help Ozarks Food Harvest receives from local businesses and donors is so greatly appreciated.
