Ozarks Food Harvest is participating in the first-ever Give Ozarks 24-hour online day of giving on May 5. The regional food bank has set a goal to raise $10,000 for its Weekend Backpack Program during the midnight to midnight drive.
Five Pound Apparel is announcing a new partnership with Ozarks Food Harvest. For every T-shirt sold, 5 Pound Apparel will provide a donation to Ozarks Food Harvest to purchase five pounds of food. Children, families and seniors struggling with hunger across southwest Missouri will benefit from the partnership.
Opal Foods, headquartered in Neosho, Mo., is helping food insecure people in the Ozarks by donating 12,600 dozen egg cartons — 151,200 eggs — to the regional food bank, Ozarks Food Harvest.
Ozarks Food Harvest and Springfield agency, 40 Digits, launched the new organizational website of the regional food bank this morning. The domain remains the same as The Food Bank’s existing website, ozarksfoodharvest.org.
