14th annual Hungerthon is June 1–4
Ozarks Food Harvest and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s Alice 95.5 will kick off the 14th annual Hungerthon radio-thon next Friday morning in hopes of raising $125,000 for the Backpack Program.

Letter to the Editor: The Importance of SNAP
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP (formerly food stamps) is targeted at our most vulnerable: 76 percent of SNAP households include a child, senior or disabled person, and 85 percent have gross income at or below 100 percent of the poverty line.
