Bank also pledges $30,000 to Ozarks Food Harvest’s Backpack Program

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Great Southern Bank in Springfield is sending three dozen employees to sort donations and repack food items for distribution at Ozarks Food Harvest this week.

Nearly 40 Great Southern employees will volunteer for three hour shifts either between 9:00 a.m. and noon or noon and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, Wednesday, June 29 and Thursday, June 30. The three-day volunteer session will benefit Ozarks Food Harvest’s 300 member pantries and feeding sites across its 28-county service area.
