Indoor yard sale benefiting those in need
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— A portion of the proceeds from an upcoming indoor community yard sale will go to Ozarks Food Harvest this summer. Eureka! Yard Sales of Buffalo, Missouri, is holding the event on Saturday, August 25, 2007, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Remingtons,1655 West Republic Road in Springfield.
Shoppers will be charged an admission fee of $2; half of which will benefit the only food bank serving 29 counties in Southwest Missouri, Ozarks Food Harvest, which distributes nearly 4.5 million pounds of food each year.
