Local artists paint to fight hunger in the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—  Local artists are creating hand-painted items for Ozarks Food Harvest’s “The Art of Ending Hunger” benefit auction on Saturday, March 29 at Patton Alley Pub.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and silent auction begins at 7. Event goers will have the chance to bid on artwork from area artists including Susan Sommer Luarca, Jane Troup and Springfield Pottery owners Nathan and Jennifer Falter.

Tickets are $25, and all proceeds go to Ozarks Food Harvest. Call 865-3411 to make your reservation before March 14.

Alice@95.5’s morning host Liz Delaney will emcee the inaugural event. Hors d’oeuvres are provided by Patton Alley and US Foodservice. Other sponsors include Graif Design, Kirkpatrick Phillips & Miller, Springfield Grocer, Panera Bread, Lathrop & Gage L.C., Traders Printing and Sign Us.
