Marshfield Christian Church joins the regional food bank as partner agency

September 25, 2013

MARSHFIELD, Mo.— Ozarks Food Harvest, the regional food bank for southwest Missouri, is partnering locally with Marshfield Christian Church to distribute “commodity food,” also known as TEFAP, or The Emergency Food Assistance Program. Ozarks Food Harvest previously distributed these groceries to Webster County residents through the Elkland Christian Church, but now those in need can receive free food from The Food Bank’s new partner, Marshfield Christian Church, 1061 State Highway A, in Marshfield.

The first distribution will be Friday, October 11 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The church will provide the food monthly, on every second Friday. Those needing assistance are required to show identification, proof of Webster County residency and income information.
