Mid-Missouri Bank donates $25,000 for Joplin relief

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Mid-Missouri Bank, which has branches in the Joplin community, donated $25,000 to Ozarks Food Harvest today for The Food Bank’s lasting relief efforts in Joplin.

“Our hearts go out to our Joplin community. Our team is committed to help in the healing process and to help lead the charge in the recovery and rebuilding efforts,” said Eric McClure, president/CEO at Mid-Missouri Bank. “Mid-Missouri Bank extends our deepest sympathy to those affected by the horrific events of the May 22 tornado.”

Each Mid-Missouri Bank branch is stepping up to help victims in Joplin. All 14 locations, including the four locations in Joplin and Webb City, will accept monetary gifts on behalf on Ozarks Food Harvest as public donation sites. Individual monetary donations will allow Ozarks Food Harvest to collect and distribute food and other necessary personal items to those affected.

“Our bank and our employees are committed to help rebuild this community one individual, one family, one home or one business at a time for as long as it takes to restore the city of Joplin,” said Seth Bayless, Joplin/Webb City community president of Mid-Missouri Bank.

Mid-Missouri Bank Joplin locations are at 2230 E. 32nd St. and 3435 E. 7th St. Webb City facilities are at 100 N. Main and 1421 S. Madison. They are open for business, with full and secure access to all customer accounts and safe deposit boxes.

Ozarks Food Harvest has nearly one dozen member relief organizations located in Joplin and has so far secured more than 30 truckloads of food and supplies for relief.
