OFH and CBCO announces partnership at press conference

WHAT:  Press Conference to unveil upcoming partnership between the community’s food bank and blood bank

WHERE:  The Food Bank — 2810 N. Cedarbrook Ave. in the North Creek Business Park in North Springfield, Mo.

WHEN:  Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Ozarks Food Harvest can feed more hungry families this holiday season thanks to a new partnership with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO). The two Ozarks nonprofits are set to announce the collaboration next week on Dec. 10 at 10:00 a.m. at The Food Bank’s new location at 2810 N. Cedarbrook Ave. in Springfield.

In addition to unveiling the partnership, Ozarks Food Harvest staff and board of directors are hosting their own blood drive for CBCO during and after the press conference on Dec. 10.
