Ozarks Food Harvest receives $5,000 gift from Neale & Newman, LLP
Donation will help provide meals for children, families and seniors facing hunger across the Ozarks
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Ozarks Food Harvest received a $5,000 donation from Neale & Newman this month to help fight hunger in southwest Missouri. This donation will help The Food Bank provide more than 20,000 meals for the 1 in 5 children and 1 in 6 adults that face hunger in the Ozarks.
“This donation comes at a great time as we continue to deal with an increased demand for food and disruptions to the supply chain,” said Bart Brown, president/CEO of Ozarks Food Harvest. “We’re so grateful to Neale & Newman for helping provide meals to families facing hunger in southwest Missouri this holiday season.”
Ozarks Food Harvest—the Feeding America food bank for southwest Missouri— reaches nearly 30,000 individuals
weekly and provides more than 23 million meals annually across its 28-county service area. For every dollar donated, 96 cents goes directly towards food distribution.
