Ozarks Food Harvest sends 7,000 pounds of water to Bolivar

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— In response to a failed well in Bolivar, Ozarks Food Harvest is distributing 7,000 pounds of bottled water to The Salvation Army of Bolivar this morning.

“We are committed to supplying our member agencies with the supplies they need to meet the needs of their communities, especially in crises such as what the residents of Bolivar are experiencing,” said Denise Gibson, development director of Ozarks Food Harvest.

Ozarks Food Harvest is the America’s Second Harvest affiliate food bank for southwest Missouri. The Food Bank distributes more than 4 million pounds of food annually to more than 300 hunger relief agencies across 29 Ozarks counties.
