Ozarks Food Harvest welcomes Dana Ausburn to its board of directors

May 24, 2023

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Ozarks Food Harvest recently welcomed community volunteer Dana Ausburn to its volunteer board of directors.

Dana previously worked as the vice president of commercial banking at Commerce Bank. She also previously served as president of the GYN Cancer Alliance, board member of Sculpture Walk Springfield and member of the Junior League of Springfield.

“I’m excited to be joining Ozark Food Harvest’s board of directors and look forward to helping increase awareness around food insecurity in the Ozarks, particularly among children,” said Dana Ausburn, community volunteer. “Vital programs that are tailored to provide meal assistance to children, such as the Weekend Backpack Program, After-School Feeding Program and Summer Food Service Program, are what compelled me to get involved with the organization.”

Ausburn replaced Jill Reynolds, senior vice president and private client advisor at Commerce Trust, after Reynolds completed her three-year term on Ozarks Food Harvest’s board of directors.

“We’re so excited to have Dana join our board and bring her expertise to the issue of hunger in southwest Missouri,” said Bart Brown, president and CEO of Ozarks Food Harvest. “Her skills and knowledge will prove invaluable as we continue to work towards ending hunger in southwest Missouri.”
