Steak ‘n Shake Partners with Food Bank to feed the hungry
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Local Steak ‘n Shake restaurants will be making a donation of a steakburger patty to Ozarks Food Harvest for every $5 in gift cards sold starting November 1 and lasting until December 24, 2007.
According to Steak ‘n Shake, the restaurant is offering a free $5 gift card for every $25 in purchased cards this year.
“We’re grateful for this annual holiday promotion. It serves as a reminder that every act of giving makes a big difference in the lives of those at risk of hunger,” development director Denise Gibson said.
Over the past four years, Steak ‘n Shake restaurants have donated more than 500,000 steakburger patties to food banks nationwide.
