Ozarks Food Harvest, the regional food bank for southwest Missouri, is partnering locally with Marshfield Christian Church to distribute “commodity food,” also known as TEFAP, or The Emergency Food Assistance Program.
Nearly 20 schools have stepped up to take Ozarks Food Harvest’s “Food Fight” challenge to collect nonperishable food items for area pantries. Food collected from each school will be weighed at The Food Bank after donations are received, and the school with the highest pounds collected, per student, becomes the Food Fight champion.
