Boy Scouts will “Scout for Food” in March

Local Boy Scouts will Scout for Food in neighborhoods across the Ozarks this month to collect nonperishable food items for Ozarks Food Harvest. This is the 24th year area Scouts have partnered with The Food Bank for the national community service project, Scouting for Food.

Panera Bread cafés in Springfield, Branson and Joplin, along with Five Pound Apparel located in downtown Springfield, will announce a partnership with the region’s only food bank to help raise awareness and funds for children’s feeding programs, at a news conference next Friday morning.
