Panera Bread will select four menu items one day each month beginning Feb. 24, and will donate a set amount per featured item to Ozarks Food Harvest. Cafes in Springfield, Branson and Joplin will participate in donating proceeds.

Two local foundations awarded a total of $200,000 to 16 member agencies of Ozarks Food Harvest over the past couple of weeks. Smart Chicken will donate nearly 7,000 pounds of frozen chicken to Ozarks Food Harvest tomorrow. This is the ninth consecutive year Smart Chicken held the Feed the Hungry promotion.
